Nissan 200SX Picture

Nissan 200SX is a sport coupe, first introduced in the spring of 1995. It is
offered in three trims: the base, SE and SE R. It sits on a 99.8 in wheelbase
and provides 10.4 cu. ft. cargo volume. It boasts of a more adequate interior
and cargo space compared to other average passenger coupes. Aside from its decent
line of standard and optional features, it drives with confidence, making it so
much fun to drive. It provides good grip on the road, quicker acceleration and
fashionable look. But the greatest news is, Nissan 200SX is so affordable. It
comes highly competitive with higher-cost coupes when it comes to performance,
style and equipments.
There are two engines available for the Nissan 200SX: 1.6 L DOHC I4
engine for the base and SE trims and 2.0 L DOHC I4 engine for the top-notch SE R, both
matched with either five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. The
smaller engine provides sufficient acceleration while SE R's engine achieves more
torque that is convenient for swift passing and pulling the optional automatic
transmission. The 2.0 140-hp engine is taken from earlier Nissan model, the two-door
Sentra SE-R. Both engines provide good gas mileage. Nissan 200SX handles well
and affords firm steering. It grips the road well, providing a secure and thrilling
ride, especially on curves and twists.
The three models share the same front-drive chassis and front-end appearance.
In 1998, the Nissan 200SX came with fresh styling featuring new taillights, grille,
bumper, headlights and exhaust tip. Standard features include adjustable seats,
air conditioning, cruise control, AM/FM/CD stereo, dual airbags, power windows
and door locks. It comes with properly positioned instruments that are clearly
marked in a functional, easy to reach and well designed dashboard.
