Nissan 200SX Engine

There are four main processes that take place in the engine, namely, intake,
compression, power and exhaust. The internal combustion engine works on a mixture
of air and fuel. Ideally, 14.7 parts of air must be mixed with one part gasoline
so as to produce large amount of power once the engine is ignited. The air enters
the engine through the air cleaner then the throttle plate. The amount of air
that gets into the engine is controlled with the gas pedal. The air and fuel mixture
is compressed and when the spark plug fires igniting the compressed mixture, power
is produced.
Available engines for the Nissan 200SX are 1.6 L DOHC I4 engine and the bigger
2.0 L DOHC I4 engine. The first delivers 115 horsepower and a torque of 108 lb-ft
