1998 Nissan 200SX
Nissan 200SX is the coupe version if the Nissan Sentra compact sedan. There are
three models available for this car: the base 200SX, the SE and the SE-R. These
three models appear almost the same but in substance, higher trims are more complete
and carry upgraded parts. Both the 200SX and SE models are equipped with 1.6L
dual overhead-cam 16-valve 4-cylinder 115-horsepower engine. It attains a fuel
economy of 39 mpg on the highway. The SE R model holds a bigger 2L 140hp engine.
All three models came with the option of five-speed manual or four-speed automatic
transmission.
Changes made to this year model include new headlights, revised bumpers and white-face
gauges. The base 200SX's former 13-inch wheels were replaced with 14-inch wheels.
Inside, expect a more comfortable ride with the more supportive reclining front
seats and adjustable head restraints. Fresh new seat fabrics are offered for this
year. There is also the straightforward instrument panel that features new white-faced
instruments with big speedometer and tachometer. Functional equipments abound
in this car, including excellently designed cup holders. Controls such as the
heating and ventilation knobs are easy to operate, giving you a more convenient
ride.

This year model offers more headroom, especially amiable for taller drivers. The
seats are offer more lateral support and are very comfortable. Rear seats are
more spacious and the trunk offers good cargo capacity when the 60/40 split rear
seatbacks are folded. Trunk lid lifts are provided at the edge of the bumper for
easy loading of cargo. Other standard and optional features included in the Nissan
200SX are air conditioning, cruise control, AM/FM/CD stereo, power windows and
door locks, fog lights, side sill extensions and rear spoiler.
